1 cup butter, softened to room temperature
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 egg yolk
2 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp kosher salt
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups M&Ms, any color or variety
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9x13" baking pan with parchment paper, and set aside. In a large bowl, combine the butter and sugars until well combined. Add the flour, baking soda, cornstarch and kosher salt just until combined. Fold in the chocolate chips and M&Ms. Press dough into the prepared pan. Bake 350 degrees for 35 minutes until lightly browned. Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
